So from my memories after the fl dies in the first lifetime, the villainess and her father took her baby and went to the ml (prince of course)

He knew right away it wasn’t the fl but the real Veronica(? Is that her name? I don’t even remember lmao) anyways it was the actual girl the fl was pretending to be. (We explain more on this later no worries if it’s confusing right now haha)

He finds out they killed the fl and tbh idk if they tell him or smt but he finds out anyways

Of course he’s mad af so he kills her and her father. He then takes his son and raises him by himself (he never gets remarried after the fl dies)

This part got me the most ಥ_ಥ so after the son is probably old enough to understand words and shiz, his father the ml would tell him words along the lines of “your mother was the most amazing person, but you were the only thing she left behind” (;´༎Д༎`)

Little back info about why the sudden personality switch from cold husband to loving single father:

In actuality the ml always knew the fl wasn’t who she said she was, he knew from the start but after being around her and watching her I guess, he fell in love with her

Because he knew she wasn’t the real what’s her face, he knew that if the information ever got out that she’d become a target by the public since technically it’d be a fallen Nobel, someone who’s basically a commoner, who’s married to royalty, of course they’d be mad lmao

In an attempt to not only protect her but any of their future children (son in this case) he acted cold towards her and pretended to not like her at all so ppl wouldn’t pay attention to her. This also goes for the son when he is born, he pretends to not be happy about his birth to protect him since he’s half fallen noble (even though he was actually really happy when he was born)

But after the fl is killed, he doesn’t really have a reason to pretend anymore since even if she was outed as a fake, she’s already dead and he only has one heir so they’d have to suck it up, especially since he refuses to remarry not have more children with anyone else.

I did read somewhere that he might be the one who turned back time but idk how true it is, so don’t take that one bit too seriously lmao

Some of those spoilers are inaccurate. He did not kill Veronica. He was going to, but he stopped, and then said that line to Ian. It can be assumed that he took Ian out of the palace, since he told her that she would never see him again. He probably did kill Veronica and got rid of the Grand Duke. And he didn’t pretend to be cold towards her because she’s a fallen noble. He didn’t even know Elena’s identity or where she came from. All Sian knew is that Elena was Veronica’s substitute. He pretended to be cold to her because if he showed affection towards her, that, outwardly, would be seen as affection towards Veronica. Which would be dangerous for her. Basically when she got pregnant with Ian, it was a safeguard for her. But at the same time, dangerous. Because Ian is a child from the Grand Duke’s family, and since Elena had produced an heir, she was basically not needed by the Grand Duke anymore so he could swap her out with Veronica at any time. Sian already had a plan to take Elena and Ian out of the palace, but then he had to say that one cruel line everyone hated him for “my momentary mistake drove the millennium empire to the abyss” after that Elena ignored him and he didn’t get the chance to talk to her. One day, he decided to visit her at the palace and tell her directly, that’s when he realized she was gone. He saw Veronica and instantly knew that she was not Elena and that is what led him to rushing the plans of reforming the imperial guard to try and save her. The night he tried traveling to the secret safe house, he and Count Lyndon and the imperial guard rid the palace of the eyes of the nobles. (People of nobles) he got to the safe house, and then he saw her motionless body lying in the dungeon. He was in denial at first, and then he started to cry while holding her body. For a while… After he returns to the Imperial Palace, that’s when he goes to get Ian. He was definitely about to kill Veronica, he was so enraged. But when he saw Ian, it calmed him down.

And yeah, Sian is also part of the reason why Elena was able to reincarnate. It was because he loved her so much. Not just because of Elena’s wishes. Both Sian and Elena wished it, so Goddess Gaia granted the wish and gave Elena a second chance at life.

Basically, they’re fated to be together. First life was truly right person wrong time.
