i stopped hoping it would get better around chapter 71 and then just skipped to the latest couple of chapters to see the end. and the end was just as lackluster as the rest of the story tbh. it had SUCH potential the first twenty or so chapters. then it just got boring and repetitive. literally every situation was solved by a cup of tea, it just got to the point of stupidity. it reminded me of doctor elise, which i HATED, in that the FL NEVER made a mistake, she ALWAYS saved the day even though logically it should have been more difficult and sometimes it shouldnt have worked. the "romance" here was soo boring. it never actually satisfactorily showed them falling in love by spending time together and learning more about each other. probably because chloes ONLY personality trait was tea. if it wasnt about tea, she was as boring as cardboard. like when they started sleeping together again i was like okay, here we go, a new dimension to their relationship! but even THAT was boring lol. nothing changed. chloe was still a boring tea obsessed piece of cardboard and the ML was shallow compared to other MLs who are supposedly SOO in love with their ladies. he went from disinterest in her to "in love" so fast, but his "in love" was just... so so. ugh. the whole story was just so so. if i could get back the hours i spent on this story, i would.
I was tempting to drop it since I was so far behind but I just read on and it was worth it, I finished the last 60 chapters in like two days and I liked it, just hope they get kids
