Its not like he will die. He's... Or rather, THEY are a far from Hiryuu castle which makes regeneration (Zeno's) slower and the other's a bit more human. Like with the previous chapter where they got sick.
i feel like zeno has been getting more hurt lately TT^TT
well I mean they seem to be pretty far away from Hiryuu castle and the mangaka could make it as though Zeno dies and reincarnates... but the foreshadowing on the last page is kind of eerie compared to when they were sick.
Its Zenos job to protect the miss.
Is that what he would say? I don't know but you're right, it makes me sad because he really is such a caring person.
