I noticed and was bothered about it but it didn't make me any less patient to see the conclusion so I almost did not say anything. She could have been unsure of his feelings because they only did it once and then he put distance between them because he realized he preferred the other her (forgot her name) and wanted to bring her back.
Yes, but I swear even in the manga they called her a virgin multiple times and she didn't deny it. So the whole thing just feels off. I'm not going to let it ruin the story for me or anything, but inconsistencies that the story made such a big deal of bug me. I'll let it go, but it feels like the author messed up,forgot, or just wanted to make the commander and her seem more like lovers continuity be damned. Either way I expect we'll eventually get an explanation or they'll just act like their relationship was always this serious we just didn't know.

Now, back to the main topic: The sex part was a flashback from when he first met her, then she discovered all the other girl spirit being in her and all that, so she tried to kill herself, she couldn't, tho since she was a shinigami. There Ryoma explains that he loves her but there's the whole "the artifact is turning the king mad because you weren't supposed to exist" ... which they decide they can only fix by stealing it and all that, but they need to erase her memories for it to work, so they do and she only remembers becoming a shinigami, and Ryoma can't tell her he loves her for the plan to work so he just keeps on teasing her. And about the virgin part, ahe doesntw remember sleeping with him. So even if it is the same body, if she didn't have sex after being with him, she'd just assume she's a virgin, i mean, don't think she's go aroung touching down there to see if she is lol...
Resumed: They were together, they erased her memory, she thinks she's a virgin, they have to solve aaaaall this conflict to be able to ne together again.
Although i do agree it felt a little rushed, with it all being in a flashback, the 'Locked doors'were there from the start so it actually wasn't, the author had it planned and yet it didn't feel completely right lol.
It's a good manga tho. A little too dramatic for my liking but good nonetheless. The ending made me cry so fucking much, even when i was reading it already tired of the plot twists and wanting it to end, the fact that she had to die so many times was so sad... q.q
During the latest chapter (34) Hikari and Ryouma seemed to have sex. This action seems way off because of previous story events. It's also presented as a flashback so that makes even less sense. I could understand if it was in the present, but during that time frame he was very teasing and she wasn't sure of his feelings. Unless the author is going to make her suddenly forget that's a huge mess up. I don't know if anyone else was bothered by this inconsistency, but I thought I'd mention it.
