Well, it wasn't necessarily him that he hated him. He hated that someone he respected and admired for years didn't think of him as an equal. But that was just his pov and not actually what the seme was thinking.
All I know is that if I feel that way about a guy who comes off as looking down on others and snobbish like the seme, the very thought of him just assaulting me the way he did the uke is criminal. I understand the freezing in fear, but with the ukes personality there is no reason he shouldn't have clobbered the seme. I would have liked much better to have the uke driven out of the school due to the seme's unwanted advances then after a time in the new school he finds that the seme has quit tennis. The uke would have been so irratated that he would have found out the reason from the seme that the seme loves him. The uke would say he'd never be with someone like the seme with a list of negative reasons. The OCD thing would come up, and in the end the seme would be left to win the ukes heart with hard work. This would be a great way to give character development, the seme could get over his problem and the uke would actually start seeing him as a better person. The ending is pretty much easy to figure out, but at least it's a decent story. Damn it why can't I draw manga?!

Why don't you just leave if you don't like- naaahhh, just kidding. Totally feel you. Final chapter reached its conclusion and I thought, ok, nope. I tried to like it like other cliches that somehow have other redeeming characteristics but there's just nothing I can like in it.

But no, we get this again. Uke can't stand the guy, doesn't stand up for himself, lets himself get molested, and DOES NOTHING!
Add's in the stupid OCD thing and the stupid love triangle makes this the dumbest most irritating thing I ever read.
