You’re so right, but the story doesn’t seem to be pointing at the duke for the ML - Honestly it is disappointing that writers tend to make ambiguous or deviant men for their main leads - i’d rather see honest and healthy feelings and relationship too :/
I Agree I can’t understand why the writers tend to go for these abusive and controlling manipulating types. When I finally see a different type of ML or a strong FL that reject that type of ML I get excited.
