Well she is meeting humans or anyone else for that matter the first time, I don't think she understands the threat as of yet. But I do think it is better for the Duke to explain things and enemies now rather than later when it will be of no use
Her naivety is frustrating and I get why but what’s frustrating is still frustrating cuz they are just one word away fr resolving what matters
