About da romance

It seems like most people don’t want the plot to have any romance. I guess I can kinda see where that’s coming from, but I think it’s alright as long as the action isn’t overshadowed. What’s everyone else thinking?

I personally don't mind. Especially in a story that's about the world ending and all that, the romance bit is like a breather. But the funny thing is, that part wasn't even romance. Our king over here was just taking out a friend for the first time he's has a day off. Was it painted romantic? Sure, but I mean our king has spectacular powers, so the drawings were probably to show him from a "normal" pov. Or it could've been painted from the girl's pov, as we know she likes him, but our king is dense and honestly, way too busy for that

All the kids who are against even the most minor hint of romance remind me of the kid in The Princess Bride - "Ewww, kissing. Can we skip this part Grandpa?"

Honestly, it's very annoying. Like a bit is okay, but when romance is added in and suddenly the plot declines with it, I get that. But c'mon guys, grow up.
