I completely understand where you’re coming from. I also understand why the MC is the way that she is though. The MC like most people doesn’t realize when people are flirting and if people like them. In her mind the ML would live a happy fulfilling life with the heroine as long as nothing disrupts it.
There’s also the fact that stories need a problem to solve in order to continue it need a goal and a place to reach. In this type of story the "goal" or place when the story starts dropping towards the ending is when they both realize they love each other. This is of course unless the author decides to put other obstacles to the characters "happiness".
Now I understand why people hate MC' like her. (￣∇￣")
Some of them have reasons that are clearly not justified. Like if you want him to be happy don't decide on your own. If you love him then love him! Stop pushing them to someone else when you don't even know for sure if what's written in the game would be true AF.
