Ok so apparently Winter will remain a douchebag 'till the ver end. He won't have a redemption arc nor any character development to begin with. Once an asshole, always an asshole. They will get divorced and by what some ppl said in the comments Violet will shoot herself with a gun and Winter will have nightmares about it. I don't know exactly what happens but she survives and they end up together at the end
Winter commits suicide during the period they’re divorced. The gun was in meant to already have happened but the author took it out and swapped it with Violet shooting herself alone on the beach.
