He's so stubborn and rude to his wife all the time but to his parents he is a "filial" son?
He seems to treat only her badly. If he was such a love"less" man, shouldn't he treat her better than others? Idk, seems like she would be happy with the minimum attention from him...
Idk, just don't like him at all. ☹☹☹
If you didn't read the novel, try it. There are moments (his thoughts mostly) that are not in the comic, and its frustrating, actually.
I actually pity him as he really don't know any other way to live, love ets. His mother just left him and went to live happily with her tribe, his "noble" stepparents used him all the time, he loves Violet but doesn't know how to show it as he grew up without love and with the only controllable thing - money.
They just really needed to talk and find out that mountain of unknown things about each other.
