The fact that the second prince was helping with MCs dad, means they were on the same team. I thought, that when the second pricne came to her, on the previous life, it wasnt to kill her, it was to save her. It was their plan, thats why i thought it made sense when the second prince was surprised when seeing MC with the knife in killing herself. That wasn't the plan. But mc didnt know.
The dad loved her very much. But in MC's view, he hates her.
he acts cold towards her to protect her from the emperor. like she's his only weakness and he's the emperor's puppet. even in one of the characters, duke floyen sorta threaten by the emperor regarding Juve that's why he stays at the imperial palace before. the knife is to protect her but she stabbed herself first instead
it was more like he acted like he didn’t care for her so that the emperor would have a harder time exploiting him through threatening her. in the process juvel thought that he really did hate her.
He did. He gave her the knife to protect herself and was working on breaking her out. That's why ML was there, to help break her out. She misunderstood the gesture of the knife, and killed herself before they could break her out.
Wait why didn’t the father care about her as much in first timeline?
