My thought is basically the same but to add onto the idea, I think he wants the uke to suffer as much as he did cuz in one of the panels, the seme mentioned smtg along the lines of how the uke "doesn't understand real pain" so I'm guessing he's just hurting him becuz of the pain he felt (by pain, I mean the feeling of "betrayal" or "jealousy" and shit idk)
And for his motive, I think he's using both manipulation and confusion onto the uke to somewhat make him befuddled onto the thought of whether the seme is being genuine about anything he says or not and shittt :P
I think the seme's motives are purely to feel superior. I highly doubt he ever appreciated the uke's actions or thought they were sincere (shown by the washing detergent) and that's where his feelings come from - the enjoyment of blackmailing and dragging down someone rich who looks down on him - making him apologise, cry, beg etc. His feelings probably manifested from the sex video as like he says he likes seeing someone as pretty and clean like him reduced to a mess which purely feeds his feelings of control. The jealousy is probably more like a loss of ownership than sincere feelings. But the author makes it pretty ambigious when his feelings actually originated - he says he put the camera in for theft but that's most definitely a lie, so was he always that yandere stalker or was he always just planning to find blackmail without the feelings involved bc he felt looked down on??
I think he also thought the uke was unpure after having sex w minwoo, so he decided that he'd be the only one who could ruin the uke
I agree with you, definitely wants to see the uke struggle and be in pain prob as revenge for betraying his pure feelings? I also think think he gets off to the uke being under his control and suffering (since he had no problem sexually assaulting the uke while the uke was crying out and saying no) so maybe it’s also a superiority thing? Then again, he seems to care about the uke when he got sick and stuff, so idk this seme’s motives seem all over the place
THIS IS AN INTERESTING TAKE! Yea it’s really weird how he just had that camera, why did he put it there in the first place (assuming that he lied about the theft)? But I like this idea too, that he always just wanted to feel superior, and it aligns with his actions and behaviour thus far, with the exception being when he took care of the uke (while uke was sick/beat up). Perhaps that was also him feeling satisfaction? Like helping the uke made him feel good, cause the uke had to rely on the seme and was dependent on him, so that to makes the uke ‘under his control’ and thus the seme is still superior/dominant in the relationship. I also like how you connected this superiority to the sex video, I can definitely see the connection. Thanks for this insight!

Like I’m kinda confused about his character. He says he hates the uke, and wants to kill both him and Han Minwoo, but I don’t think it’s actual hate? Like I think he fell for the uke, bc the uke was always kind to him and giving him stuff (even tho we know that the uke seems to be helping him only bc he sees the seme as worthless and feels happy to help a dog). So when he saw the uke was having sex with Han Minwoo, it betrayed the seme’s pure feelings for the uke? That’s why he’s so obsessed with him and mad at him for that betrayal. That’s what I’m guessing at least.
Can I see some other opinions? I’d like to know what other ppl think about the seme’s motives and why he’s obsessed with the uke. I think it’s weird that the roommate seme seems to just suddenly turn into this yandere character, since in the flashbacks, it doesn’t seem like he’s a bad guy. Do you guys think he always knew the uke was insincere to him, but still fell for him? Does the seme even really like the uke?
