Omg I’m just liked you. I usually use pansexual but I came to the conclusion that I don’t need to label or care for who I like, sexuality is fluid so don’t worry if you can’t identify your sexuality. Just as you I am attracted to boys but not to the point of date them so we can say I prefer girls but I’m actually open to date anyone :)
I understand you at some extent. I'm bisexual and married with a man, so people want to put a tag "straight female", but it's not like I don't like girls anymore.
Don't take the labels people put in you to your heart's content, you don't need to have a girlfriend to proof them something.
You don't need to label yourself either, even as lesbian, bi, pan or gender fluid if you don't feel confortable with any os these. You'll understand yourself better as you get older, so it' ok if you don't know it yet.
About your friends and family, talk w/ them about the girls you like, and if someone tells you that tou can't like girls if you never dated a girl, ask then how they know that they're hetero if never dated someone of the same sex. Usually they say something like "I always knew I was" and you can say "so, it's the same for me."
Sorry for the huge message. I hope I could help you to lessen the burden in your heart. (=・ω・=)
as a person who's really confused about their sexuality (i want to identify as a pansexual but it doesn't sit right with me and i don't know if im lesbian cause i still like 2d men and kpop boys), all i really want is a hug from someone telling me it's alright being me and i am validated
