It is true tho. Age is just a number. You can date someone younger than you as long as both are adults and 18+.
If there is goodness in this world, maybe they were just talking about 12 year age gap and you probably misread it.

okay. Sure i agree as long as they're both adults or only have like 1 or 2 years of age difference (in case one is not an adult for examply a 17 year old dating a 18 or 19 year old). I even found some thinking it's okay to date someone who is 12 year old as long as there's consent, and all i have to say is that I'm disgusted. A 12 year old can't give consent, it's called grooming. People who think this is okay should just fucking die already. Sometimes mangago comments honestly make me wanna cleanse my eyes. I was so disturbed with the "12 year old" comment that I'm pretty sure I'd beat that person to pulp if i met them in real life. I'm sorry for the angry rant, but I'm glad i got this out of my chest.
