calling me an idiot and assuming i’m a child won’t get you nowhere it’s irrelevant to insult me because you have nothing else to say. first off rape is disgusting it always will be but if you don’t know i’ll tell you, people can change and always can, jooin can give him another chance it’s not up to you. yahwi is going through character development you gotta look into the depth of his character to understand him, trauma is A VALID REASON, saying it’s not makes you just as a disgusting person as ‘i am’ trauma can do so much to someone’s life and you probably haven’t gone through a child trauma if you’re saying that, as a person that has you make other people feel invalidated and it’s gross. if you’re seriously still going off about a chapter from the start you need to move on and read something else then, i’m not saying you have to forget the rape or ignore it because i also do not and think it’s gross did you ever realize jooin came back to yahwi again for sex? cain is stuck on a unrealistic past of jooin and him at the end of the day cain isn’t amazing and so kind he literally had dreams of him a jooin having sex, wanting jooin not to meet up with yahwi is really controlling and rude af. cain is kind but he stuck on something unrealistic and not anything present it’s one sided if anything. but also calling me the same as yahwi isn’t even bad, so stop being so rude.

Um excuse me it's not just one chapter, it's Many chapters. Pretty much throughout the entire time Jooin was "with" Yahwi he was either verbally and physically abusive, manipulative, gaslighting, toxic, distant, cold, etc. Jooin was pretty much trying to do everything and the only one that had any serious feelings. But the abusive one knew about his feelings and just disregarded them, still treated him like shit. Jooin even told Cain that his heart had been broken over and over. Yahwi was literally hurting him and he didnt even care because he wasnt aware of it at all, while Cain was aware of it. So, Yahwi being a toxic asshole is pretty much portrayed throughout a big amount of the story, not just one chapter. That one chapter that people are referring to is actually where it all started, and where I personally began to not like him anymore either. It's not the only reason why I don't like him though, I began to dislike him more and more the more he would continuously treat Jooin like shit because I'm not a sadist. I dont find watching characters being in abusive relationships entertaining in the slightest, regardless if the abusive character needs character development or not.

Yes, Yahwi is traumatized, but his actions and behaviors are still inexusable. Like he's 24 with access to the internet, if he still hasn't figured out how to treat people with respect and kindness or that he can learn how to do so, maybe the real ignorant one is Yahwi because the information is literally a google search away (as Jooin has proved in the very beginning of the story when he was wondering if he was gay) I'm just saying. This story has two optional characters for the protag. As being someone who reads BL/yaoi for romance while doing my best to avoid the stories that don't have consent in them, while also not wanting to see the protag experience toxicity and abuse, why would I not ignore and avoid Yahwi’s character? Why should I force myself to pay attention to a character that literally grosses me out because of how much I personally don’t like to see or hear when people are abusive and toxic to others, while sexually taking advantage of them, and gaslighting, etc - which is everything that Yahwi has done? I also am not a fan of manipulation whatsoever. That doesn’t mean that I don’t want Yahwi to heal, either, though, as I believe that anyone who experiences any form of trauma does deserve to heal. That doesn’t make me ignorant, as I am someone who is fully aware of both Cain and Yahwi’s actions and would rather support Cain and not Yahwi because of how many times Yahwi has crossed the line, hurt Jooin and broken Jooin’s heart multiple times, while Cain has always been gentle and has always treated Jooin with respect and kindness. So, yeah when given the choice between the two, I choose to give my focus to the one that's treating the protag with respect and kindness. Regardless of Yahwi's backstory, what he's done is beyond not okay and toxicity and abuse doesn't suddenly become "cute" or "tolerable" or "exusable" just because a character is "attractive with a traumatic past." It would be different if he were at least a lot similar to Ahjuicy from Dangerous Convenience Store, but Yahwi's character is so far away from Ahjuicy, as the writers have made him do many inexusable and (potentially) triggering things that Ahjuicy would never do. I firmly believe that abuse is not something that should be romanticized because of how emotionally damaging and serious the effects of it can be to someone's health - fictional or not.
