no seriously even if jooin does end up rejecting cain and yahwi is endgame i feel like that would be the stupidest decision ever made in manhwa writing history .. cain is such a likeable character , he’s never done anything to intentionally harm jooin, he makes jooin smile whenever he’s with him, he’s always protecting jooin and even now he’s patiently waiting for jooin’s response .

i feel like if the author had been deadset on making yahwi endgame they shouldve been smarter and made yahwi the LEAST bit more likeable than cain is . yahwi’s whole personality may be hot (ik, dominating and shit hot right??) but he lacks basic empathy, common sense and to top it all of he’s manipulative AND a rapist WHO BLAMES THE VICTIM , gaslights the shit out of jooin throughout their ‘relationship’. not to mention he’s been given 2 chances WHILE CAIN HAS BEEN GIVEN 0 GOD THIS MAKES ME SO MAD

and the more frustrating part is (this will be revealed in the upcoming chapters) the author’s trying to play it all off with trauma , like the basic “oh his shitty personality is excused because he has trauma” like … no. please. stop.

i mean i would understand if it were like painter of the night , where nakyum basically has no other options beside seungho and the only other option (the teacher) is a total dick (meaning, seungo is more likeable than the teacher was) , then i would be like “oh, okay, redemption arc, nice” BUT NOT FOR LOVE TRIANGLES LIKE THIS WHEN THE BETTER OPTION IS CLEARLY THERE LIKE COME ON CAIN HAS DONE NOTHING BAD TO GET HIS HEART BROKEN JUST LIKE THAT WITHOUT EVEN BEING GIVEN A CHANCE i swear if yahwi is endgame then jooin is so dumb for giving yahwi 3 chances like WASNT 2 ENOUGH TO SEE THAT HE REALLY WONT CHANGE FOR U DAMN
