Are we supposed to know her?? My whole concentration is on what's happening between Kurose & Shirotani in the here&now story, so I can't focus on anything or anyone else. i just know that a woman in such stories always is annoying at the best!!Little scared. They have enough on their plate right now!

From what I can tell she is supposed to be the student who was with Shirotani's father. It's hard to get from this cliffhanger as I wasn't sure it was her at first, but it seems there's a link in one of the comments to the next chapter, and it makes it clearer. Hence why everyone dislikes her so much.
