new ship alert: Suha x Stockholm Syndrome

That’s not Stockholm syndrome. He’s not a hostage, in fact Suha doesn’t even know he’s trapped.
Stockholm Syndrome is when someone develops connection with their kidnapper, but Suha has love Jiwoon way before all this and so has Jiwoon so no.

Suha and Jiwoon are both victims, the red head is the problem. Jiwoon is just not in the right mind due to his own unresolved issues. I hope he realizes what he’s doing isn’t right and gives Suha’s old phone back and his freedom as well.

I understand that Jiwoon is scared but maybe he should hire Suha bodyguards to protect him whenever Suha goes outside by freewill.

Red head problems he causes:
-Drugged Jiwoon and had two men nearly rape him, triggered Jiwoon’s abandonment trauma because red head took Suha away.
-Trying to take Suha away from Jiwoon just to mess around I guess, Jiwoon is anxious because of that as well.

-Threatened/blackmailed Suha and forced Suha to give consent to sleep w him, but thankfully Suha fought back and ran to Jiwoon.
-I believe he raped Suha before/force sex w consent/blackmailing once again.
-I also believe in their childhood, red head is the source of Suha’s trauma/Suha’s issues w trusting people but Jiwoon helped Suha to be able to trust someone again.

I believe red head has done much more but can’t remember, too lazy to go look back but what I listed are the most recent things he has done to both Suha and Jiwoon.

The way Jiwoon is protecting Suha currently may seem like he’s holding him hostage but that isn’t the case even if this is wrong. Jiwoon still seems very shaken up after the drug nearly raped incident, but Suha seems calm and collected which I’m confused about as to why he’s so calm after all that, I hope Suha realizes something is wrong w Jiwoon and talk with him instead of promising to stay home.

finally an intellectual that understands the complexity of the situation. Suha loves jiwoon and he loves Suha, red head needs to gtfo and jiwoon needs therapy and to know Suha won't leave him

Exactly. Both love each other genuinely. I’m a bit surprised Jiwoon didn’t hurt Suha despite trauma being triggered and a bit not in the right mind, cause in some BLs, those without trauma/mental issues hit their partner easily w no resistance. Pretty normalized too. :/

Communication is needed, hopefully they talk it out within the next few chapters. Jiwoon needs assurance that Suha loves him, therapy, and both go on dates safely without red head bothering them.

I totally agree with you. Suha doesn't even know he's trapped but us, the readers, we see how alarming this situation is. The author really did this part very well! Jiwoon did so bad about lying to him, hiding his phone and laptop... that part is awful - but we know it isn't exactly because he wants to take Suha's freedom but because he's afraid that he's going to contact the president or do something dangerous, or do something that Jiwoon cannot control (the need of control is very common for who went through trauma).

I'd be surprised if Jiwoon actually hurt Suha. It's not in his personality at all... but I'm still afraid of the future, to be quite sincere with you.
The guy really is devoted to Suha and we can see that what he's doing is hurting him more than actually is hurting Suha lol like, he seems a bit dead... hes got eye bags - it feels like hes not sleeping enough, he's worrying about many things at once, he looks calm but I feel like he's stressed out, not to mention hes acting very weirdly and this shows clearly how his mental health is bad at the moment.
Jiwoon normally wouldn't do it, he seems self-aware of when he's being selfish. Normally he's thoughtful. But maybe in the future, if all his bottons are pressed, maybe he turns violent.
