He tried to say what was needed to be said, he broke up with his ex, and told Shougo he needed to clear things with his ex so they can date peacefully. I also dont understand why u say that Mitsuru led his ex on for so long,,,like,,,do u think he'd have the courage to break off their one-sided relationship especially when his ex hurts him,,hell he's even traumatized and u expect the man to do that. I agree to this to a certain extend. However, there is a 2 argument that I like to say. The uke is literally was blackmailed by the retards Kouichi or whatever the fuck his name is. He literally send a video of him raping the uke and the same had to suffer for it. If u went through domestic abuse in family household then u know how powerless you are and mind-numbing the whole situation because you literally want to escape but you can't because Kou manipulated the uke's relationship

Yes I agree to this. There are fault that the uke should have made early on. But then again, if he broke contact with the Kou shitty chi, he would've still waited at his house no matter what because people are retarded. The only way to do is to move out of the house for a while (maybe move with the seme) and stayed there. There are points that should be better but I guess the author wanted to make it like this for the sake of drama and extend the plot. Their writing is literally trying to show that this situation does exist not just in straight relationship and making a commentary. Overall I don't love the story because all characters except the seme needed therapy sessions for their vhildish behaviour.
