I’m pretty sure he did? I don’t really remember the chapter cuz it was a while ago but I think he just said that to scare them

I believe Felix lied about it to piss Cole off (and made that claim because he "felt like a father" to Benjamin [sorry, I don't remember the exact words he used ^^;]) -but Cole misinterpreted Felix's confidence as being sincere in a sense and made Cole believe that Felix is aware that Benjamin is his biological son.

Hope that ease some of the confusion!

living together = becoming a father/makes him a father
