It was hinted before. Medea and the empress pregnant at the same time. Medea had a daughter who died while the emporer had arendo. But the baby was actually switched. Arendo is actually emporer's half brother and not his son. His real daughter had died from birth. And the case was covered by all present at the time. Thats my understanding anyway...
