I honestly dont side either bcos they all had their reasons for doing what they did ;-; kwon never really experienced love and doesnt know whats it like to love someone until he met yoon, he doesnt know if what he feels for yoon is love but he just know he doesnt want to the the relationship. Whatever he said in ch39 he wasnt wrong but he just spoke on impulse and said everything harshly i guess… as for Tae i just feel sorry for him. His only fault would be that he chose to give up yoon despite still loving him and not having enough courage to dump that bij who lied to him >.>

anyways i already know the ending as this has a novel so… but well the latest raw chap kwon rlly came to terms with his feelings and that itself is already a huge step forward

From the latest KR raws, Tae already broke up with his bf and is realising he doesnt want to lose yoon and wants to chase yoon back. Kwon also confesses to yoon and ask yoon to go California with him bcos Kwon is going back to headquarters. Yoon however didnt agree to it. In fact yoon is planning to return to the warzone.

From the novel, Yoon underwent brain surgery overseas and when he woke up his friend who was there with him asked him who was the person he most wanted to see the moment he woke up and yoon thought of Kwon. Eventually, yoon returned to Kwon’s side as Kwon told him that he will wait for him. ( i find this quite touching because in ch39 kwon told yoon that not everyone is willing to wait for him). Well so Tae ends up alone because Yoon told him that he made Tae wait for so many years and because the time he spent loving him has made him lose himself. Hes letting Tae go because he wants to give Tae a chance to be happy and be him again. He doesnt want to make Tae wait for him anymore.

Wow, that’s quite the beautiful ending, and to me it feels so realistic.

Also when I saw tae new boyfriend, I thought he will be so kind and supporting and understanding and that they have a good relationship, but than he turn out to be so greedy, insecure, desperate and pitiful in some way, the moment I saw why their relationship start from the beginning, I knew that it wouldn’t last, not because of yoon but because two reasons one Tae didn’t really love him, and the return of yoon only conformed it, and two, It was build on guilt and need and those feelings never last. In short I’m not surprised they broke up.
