The uke only initiated sex because he was about to hatch a plan with his friend to escape. It happens a lot in abusive relationships; placate the abuser and pretend nothing is wrong while you're planning to leave.
I think the uke's biggest "sin" here is his arrogance; while "helping" the seme with money, food, and gifts, he was actually trampling on the seme's pride. And he did it a lot. The seme was torn between rage and sexual attraction on a daily basis and when he found the uke's weakness, it boiled over into murderous rage, jealousy, and obsession, which ultimately lead to his downfall.

i think it's interesting that the uke is also a bit morally grey
and i like that he was the one who initiated the sex but the seme got arrested for it... so it throws an interesting arc.. THE seme is obviously the biggest asshole but the author is not making it black and white sso that's fun
