Honey, life is about convenience. A lot of mangas are free or licensed outside mangago but here you are, on an illegal site reading stuff with an account. I don't think you should be preaching about legality.

Honestly I feel like this isn’t an issue of convenience, but rather an issue of how to promote the author and avoid further trouble. I know that quite a few authors depend on the “ranking” and ad revenue on webtoon to get their pay. If we just read on there and give them a good rating it’ll
1. Make the author happy
2. Help them get closer to ad rev. (40k PVs a month and at least 10k subs)
3. Avoid any issues with the author dropping this.
Like someone else said, small authors can actually drop series bc illegal updating effects them too much...
And one argument I’ve seen a lot is “We’re doing the author a favor by posting here coz it’s giving them exposure.”

Sure, I agree that it DOES give exposure, but it’s not good exposure. People go to webtoon and read there but the author will find out their work is getting published illegally. It will cause a lot of stress...

And honestly, the person said "convenience", it's not like you are forced to get the app, it's literally available on the site. They just have to open a NEW TAB, much like this very website.
You need to stop fucking complaining. Mangago is bigger than webtoon. Tbh there is more variety here than webtoon so why go through all that trouble when they can just read it here. I have an account on webtoon but even i prefer to read it here than there (even thinking of felting the app cos i see no point). I know you are trying to support the author, i get that. Yall know this is an illegal site right??? Thousands of mangas and webtoons get posted here and you the complainers still come here to read them for free so i don't think you should be hypocritical to others at all. Yes it's free on webtoon but it is also free here. It is all about convenience.
