Right so the first has season 1 (completed), season 2: kings maker (completed) and season 3 (still ongoing). But Kings Maker: Triple Crown is ONLY the season 2 story arc which is already complete. So thats why the first one is still updating.
The authors write the shounen ai version before releasing the mature version a few months later, so once they complete season 3, they will also make a mature version of that too and release is separately like Triple Crown. Does that make sense? Slrry i tried my best to explain
I recommend reading Kings maker (until the end of season 1, then switching to Triple Crown for the explicit version of season 2, then going back to the first book to read season 3 (i think it starts around chapter 64?).
