I need to rant about something

seriously it annoys the shit out of me. i get yuki plays a big role in mafuyu’s character, but he has passed. that chapter in everybody’s live has closed and they are facing the horrid aftermath of the trauma yuki left them. people have to move on. uenoyama and mafuyu make a beautiful couple. ugetsu and akihiko were toxic as hell and should have left each other years earlier. ugetsu is also quite manipulative and people fail to see that and put all the blame on akihiko because he’s a wildly flawed person who has made some god awful mistakes.

people need to move on and realize the reality of some of the characters. those are just my two cents

I gotta disagree with yah, though it really is a given that mafuyu is inlove now, we cannot deny the fact that yuki's memories will forever be with him. And if i remember it clearly, mafuyu noticed uenoyama because it reminded him of yuki, so telling people that yuki is just a 'dead' character is not acceptable. Let other people celebrate the tragic love between them, because that is just one of their ways to remember and give thanks to yuki for helping into shaping the mafuyu that we love. ALSO, if you really love the story, please love every bit of it, not just what fits your standards.

The entire story is based on Mafuyu's relationship with Yuki... the manga/anime wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for their relationship. If you listened closely to the lyrics of Mafuyu's song, it basically describes the entire story's base. Even the opening is about Yuki. Uenoyama is also shown when Mafuyu sings his song but he transforms into Yuki meaning that Mafuyu is not over Yuki, seeing him in his next lover. Tragic, but it's the truth.

I loves the plot, now too. But i just didn't enjoy all this people going around yuki this yuki that. And why must celebrate??? Why not celebrate the nontoxic one? Why the tragic one is more popular? You know what i mean i just don't get it why people so obsess with yuki. I never deny yuki existence in mafuyu heart, and his special place but let stop at that, why go shipping a ship that is already gone and didn't focus the one who is with mafuyu rn.

Yes i understand that that this manga exist because of yuki and mafuyu but the manga keeps on going because mafuyu is learning to let go and move on with uenoyama. That's why i don't understand that why people keep on "yuki this yuki that". The story is about mafuyu moving on. Not mafuyu stading in the same spot. I really love the story but i dont like all these people focusing of the past relationships meanwhile the future is there, its like they don't know how to move on and look forward

first of people can like whatever they want just like how most of u people ship characters like deku with baku or todo despite knowing they will never be canon and deku will definitely end up with uraraka people within bl community can ship person a with other characters like c d and e even though canonically a ends up with b its called fanfiction of fiction incase u dont know.

as for why people ship him with yuki i am one of those shippers and in my opinion him being with yuki gave him more personality like he got happy sad and irritated when he thought yuki started ignoring him or started to spend less time with him he felt human whereas him being with uenoyama was all about mafuyu acts cute and une gay panics.

anyway overall i will say respect other peoples ships and if u dont like a certain ship ignore any post related to it bcz it wont stop the people shipping the certain ship.(づ￣ ³￣)づ

Hahaahha that's why the title is i want to rant. For me uenoyama makes mafuyu sing again, makes lyrics, feel loved and will be many more in the future but we all focus on what we want right. No worries

the whole point of given is how to move forward and grow. people always miss that point.

i totally get what you mean about how mafuyu was so expressive with yuki and they did have a very cute relationship. the reason why he isn’t like that with uenoyama is *because* of yuki. not that yuki did anything wrong, just the trauma that his death left. mafuyu probably doesn’t want to dedicate his everything to uenoyama in fear of what happened with yuki happening again. being with uenoyama isn’t all about being cute and gay panics, actually their relationship has more shown depth than with yuki. with uenoyama, mafuyu is learning to love again. finding new passions. growing up. that’s the point of their relationship. later in the story i’m sure we will see mafuyu open up and show all his sides once more.

yes yes what u r saying is absolutely right , it takes time to heal from such a big event lol i might have gone a bit off track also havent read given in a while sorry if i added false info my main point was the fact that op didnt like people shipping mafu with yuki . everyone has their own favs and stuff, they can ship whatever they want and if u dont ship the same thing then just move on and look fo wat u ship
