No they don't. If you think so you must find every story tiring after 100 chapters or your comment actually doesn't make sense, considering that every trope just like the one you mentioned is overused and there is no other difference between the oversmart children trope and all other tropes. Bbb.
I'm well aware all these tropes are overused- it's the way the story is narrated that make it an interesting read. Most stories get boring when they start stretching out arcs- which is normal since these are all light novels. Some manage to pick up the pace, some I read just to fill the time. Tbh, I don't even need to complain since I'm reading it for free, but I was quite tired the day I commented this, usually I refrain from complaining.
These oversmart "children" who are actually teens/adults get tiring real quick, huh. Still, the plot is interesting enough to read at least a 100 chapters, after that Ik I will end up dropping it
