Because Jyousei, in his eyes, treated Motoki as a second class citizen (or a screw hole to be put bluntly) below the girl he couldn't catch of the day.
I will leave just that reason for the moment.

Although if you read the RAW, there will be more valid (and cruel) reasons later on but I don't want to spoil it.
Yeah, Motoki got his feelings hurt because he likes Jyousei. I think what he said was really cruel, but it wouldn't be as harsh if they both were in it for just the sex. Though I can see why a person would see Jyousei as an asshole. Especially in the later chapters (though he redeems himself :D). Though, I think what Jyousei said was cruel but not ordinary. The concept of only have sex with someone when all your other resources are gone is really messed up. But Jyousei probably thought that Motoki would be fine with it since, they're both not gay. But in truth, Motoki actually started to like him. Imo, What Jyousei said was not out of the ordinary but because Motoki likes him, it was definitely cruel.
I don't understand why people hated it so much when Jyousei said what he said at the last pages of chapter 2.
They aren't in a relationship with each other, they don't even seem like good friends - more like friends who partner up together to go to group dates.. They both sleep around a lot and they're both straight (at least at this time they both think they're straight and assume each other are straight) Jyousei didn't even intend to be rude or to put him down (you can see from the way he talked.) Jyousei even mentioned few times already that sex with Motoki is good. But since he's straight it's not unnatural for him to say something like what he said.
Jyousei is basically talking to Motoki in a very sex-friends manner and there's nothing wrong with that. Since neither of them have really expressed any deeper feelings for each other, coming to the assumption that they've become sex friends isn't difficult
