I know it, she's not sauvel daughter. Its kind of fishy when she have the gut the sleep with sauvel before he shave. Before that, everyone thought that sauvel look old and unattractive, so its kind of weird if the wife love him because she easily fall in love with the big bro.
Right? Unless that woman was desperate to have his child so she could become Duchess(⌒▽⌒)
That time was she really know his status and title? If it's then, i think it is true she want to be the duchess. But i don't think so because how can she easily fall in love with rovel if she is want the power ᕙ( ° ʖ °)ᕗ.. likely she just want some scapegoat to be the father of her daughter. She even treat her daughter like shit. Then that must be she's like to play around and don't even want to have the daughter. Even after marrying to sauvel she didn't even use her power but she just want rovel to visit and meet her. Is she stupid or what?
Probably. But I do(did) have a slight feeling that she was genuine with Sauvel until she saw Rovel, the one who doesn't age and doesn't have to shave unlike her husband. But there were no signs of abuse on her daughter before coming into the Duchy, that only happened in the later chapters after the mom became obsessed with Rovel and started Physically and Mentally abuse her daughter. I also had a feeling she cared for her daughter like any mother but just one wrong step could lead to an abusive path and that's what she took.(￣∇￣")
Haha maybe she just upsate that she can't obtain rovel (~‾▿‾)~...
*sigh* Ya'll hating on the cousin when she has EVERY right to feel angry towards Ellen, sure she may have made a mistake in telling everyone she's close with the crown prince but who doesn't want to boast? He's the Crowned prince ffs and that's a rare honor, plus she's still a child and she's been dragged down by her own mother who's a drunkard and is now in bed, along with her father who doesn't give her attention and time which goes to show her attitude and behavior causing the people around her to criticize her. The lack of Parental love is what's causing her to become the person she is, and add the fact that in the later chapters that all the father did was scold his daughter after finally having the time to talk to her, when he's supposed to apologize for neglecting his daughter. And I saw a spoiler that the mother tricked him and it was not his daughter but biological or not, he took them in so he should take responsibility. Not just as the Duke of the kingdom but as a father as well.
She also envies Ellen because of her close relationship with her own parents and being the most talked when she's not around even though there's another lady in the house which also caused her to want love and affection. The only person that was close to her is the prince so she relies on him and sticks to him cause he's the only one that reached out to her when she needed help the most. And because Ellen's rising popularity is attracting dangerous people, the cousin was stuck in the middle of it. She had every right to be angry cause of what she's been through and given that Ellen was reincarnated unlike her cousin, that was an advantage that Ellen has and her cousin doesn't.
I have a lot more to talk about but It's too much. Oh and a reminder-
Ellen is a Reincarnator which makes her more mature than her age-
whereas her cousin isn't which makes her a normal child. Normally children are childish, immature, and a curious bunch. Make sure to keep in mind.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
