You would be given a lot of leeway if you were a foreign student though. The Korean, and Japanese govts want you all there, and the university will be favourable to you because you'd be an important statistic in increasing the institution's reputation. Lastly would you really study abroad if you were as poor as the MC? Come on. I am in uni in Japan and tbvh, the admin is the best - extremely friendly and going out of their way to make sure your experience in Japan is nothing less than comfortable; the profs are nothing like what this webtoon shows. Maybe the native students get subject to such harassment. But that would be very unusual as well.
don’t speak on all experiences please, your japanese uni or whatever does not equal the entirety of asia, it is true that it’s this harsh and it doesn’t matter if you’re a foreigner or not. the education system and style is not going to bias you the same way everywhere, in some cases they DONT welcome foreign students and hold prejudice. and the og comment was speaking from their experience with what they know since it’s not THEIR teaching system they said it before. so that’s the clarification AS a native who’ve seen transfer students get bullied in school for being foreign
Ye im sure there are schools that have great support in asia etc but what i mean is just my opinion as ik myself and how much effort i can put on my studies and even the friend i am talking about has to get through 2 entrance exams one is to get a scholarship to study in japan or a language exam im not sure and the other for school entrance also another level exam to study in japan . Well at least that is what she told me she had to do. And it isn’t always easy for everyone yk… and plus i do so many extra stuff that i started homeschooling because i could not attend normal school hours so i cant imagine myself in the shoes of the mc. But i get u, the only thing i wanna make point in is there are mean teachers out there doesn’t has to be in asia but also hardcore education system that can chew u up. I hear a lot fo people complaining the education is very hard there… but ye it is all up to where u go for studying as school. And im happy to hear that ur studying in japan and happy about it, so cool. Good luck with everything.
What are you talking about…I just said i could not work that hard even if i tried. There was nothing offensive about my comment. I didn’t talk off experience. I just heard from people who had tough experience i never thought every asian school would be the same etc. if you carefully read my comment without getting mad u would understand that all im saying is that it feels tough in my eyes. That is why schools in asia aren’t a choice in my eyes… I’d die if i dont have one day of break from school at least… makes me feel like a prisoner. ( and dont take it wrong im not shaming asian schools i just think it’s too strict and tough work to be in one plus with a scholarship…I’d die in there ) my friend is going to japan to study but idk how it will go for her… i mean this manhwa is korean but still the educational wise is similar soo ye good luck to her and every student.
