I don't know what you're talking about. As you can see, the mc is not a bad guy. Yes, he has killed yakuza-guys but has never done anything else that's bad. For heavens sake, he tried to save the demon-girl and he did help that bullied kid change his mind and return to life. In what way does he not deserve to be an angel?
