This will be a serious review not just a jokes comment so read ahead if you wanna know how I feel about it!
This webtoon was actually really well made (in my opinion), it displays many feelings people experience when given leadership over a lesser race/class (by which I mean it’s fairly easy to control lower classes or people who are more ‘primitive’ than you). Yes it does focus on sex around the beginning but around half way through the plot starts to pick up and he really starts to show his true colours. I and I’m pretty sure many others came for sex rather than plot but I was surprised to see just how much character development the mc went through.
Mc is greedy and selfish at the beginning in both the real world and in this other world but honestly everyone is greedy to an extent, some experience it more because they were given power in a stage where they were perhaps a bully or already had bad ideals. But to see the mc actually blame himself for what happened and become worried over the people he left behind at the island while also wanting to protect the new people on the new island was interesting. He didn’t even try to blame anyone else but him and he was worried for everyone who had helped him.
Now to move on to the ending, please read with caution with the next paragraph if you don’t want to be spoiled for the ending!

The ending in my opinion felt very rushed after chapter 38 (which honestly feels like the real ending tbh, dunno what the author thought adding in those last two). Everyone he loved died but it was nice to see him grow old and happy with these elf like humans. My favourite part was when he interacted with the small blue haired child. But if you read past chap. 38 it ends up going off into this weird sideplot sorta thing where he turns into a tree after a mutated seal eats his arm and leg. His son (who I’m assuming rules the broken island) end up going to the surface world (our world) and goes to rule over the humans. Now this honestly didn’t make much sense except for the fact is that there was supposed to be an epilogue apparently that never got added so maybe it goes more in depth with that part?
Overall I recommend just reading till the end of chapter 38 and stopping there if you want to get confused.
It’s honestly a really interesting tale and I’d recommend it to people looking for a dark webtoon. It gets you weirdly attached to some of the characters ( I got attached to Bura and she died, and redhead rip ) and has many twists which were done quite well! So yeah I suggest giving it an honest it definitely gets better later in the story!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
