I don't mind a little "Deus ex machina" but the whole point behind that method of solving a problem is the author at least TRIES to provide some method for the impossible to occur... he's self adapting stem cell technology (so at least organic and changeable to start with); the girl has magic ring with 1 wish left; I don't know... SOMETHING!
Anything less than an attempt at something just leaves the thinking reader frustrated and disappointed because it totally ruins and otherwise good story!

Loooool. What kind of bs is that? How did the robot come into existence? How does human bodily fluids somehow change him from machine to flesh??? This.... sigh. There's only so much suspension of belief will hold up.
