idk why people’s so angry with the flashback considering its /very/ essential to the story. yeah, ray is not the main character, but kile’s very goal was to uncover the mystery behind rays death. from the beginning the story has always been about how kile navigates everything after rays death, be it his own feelings, the enemies ray left behind, and how the people in rays life came to play a big role in kile’s. we as readers are experiencing everything firsthand as kile does. knowing what happened to ray was kind of the story’s driving force lmao.
