A good storyteller has you feeling some kinda way...love, pity, protectiveness, hate or whatever for a character. No one is saying they hate the story so yeah if they say they hate the seme they are gonna keep reading, if for nothing more than seeing the redemption arc unfold.

That's the best part so why are you all so worked up. I mean that's his role from the beginning, he never felt love before so how can he realize what he had done was wrong. You know even if you hate the seme we all know that you still want to read more.
