Actually, most serial killers have traumatic childhood which leads to them, killing. I think most writers have them as character base something. Childhood trauma is critical. That's why they made a lot of laws concerning children. Specially after that era of serial killers.
But there's this one serial killer who got no trauma, whatsoever. But he's not that well-known. He's smart too and even tricked the doctors and cops. He made them believed he's "okay" and mentally stable. Anyways, he's story was interesting. I hope a writer base a character on him. Ya know, the crazy and genius part.
(( don't hate me for this, I know having a negative opinion on something popular is asking for it but I wanna share this so I will ))
Tbh I like the story but I HATE it if the blonde dude is just a Psychopath for nothing again...traumatic past whatever, if he kills for some purpose, although deeply questionable on moral grounds, I could find myself more into that than if he just randomly kills dudes because why the f not?
Same with Killing Stalking and Sangwoo, is it really that hard to write a complex character that murders people but has some type of deeper insight that makes him look sinister & clever than just plain psycho?
I get that it's probably hard and we haven't seen everything of this yet but this feels so much like a KS-type of situation or PoTN (Seungho)....I'm kinda sick of this overused trope.
Good example of a well written character is Hannibal, his intellect makes him all the more dangerous, he never looses his humanity while hiding his murderous tendencies.
