I've just started reading but some contructive crtisism on the writing.

I'm not quite buying this dramatic 180 heel turn of character development MC has within the span of like 2 chapters (why do they always rush everything with exposition like that? thats not how you get people to care) first of all; her cause of death in her past life clearly wasn't due to her greed, as we have been shown. lots of people throughout all lines of work follow pursuits for money, what makes her different? she died because her employer framed and killed her.

they want us to believe she used to be this "terrible" person, but they dont provide anything substantial to convince us she even was. besides saying she likes money over and over..

maybe if someone she cared about died by her own hands, and she had to live with this guilt of that, along with meeting the ml. I would believe her eventual desire to change. I get what the author was trying was going for with her character, it just landed flat I'm afraid. maybe they should have looked at a good characters that gets a redemption arc like jamie lannister from game of thrones. theres a perfect example of a character that starts as what seems to be an unsympathetic asshole, to misunderstood morally grey character later

you think if she was a walking genius stereotype, she would be more resistant to the idea of you know.. being WRONG about anything. just being killed wouldn't be enough, it would take time for her to actually come around to the idea of changing, I would have looked forward to that kind of slow process for the payoff in her development later.

it seems like they just want to rush into the romance.

Did you not get the impression that she was a terrible person when she didn't care about her friends dying? /gen

not really because its part of the territory of being a knight or sword for hire, but most people just focus on the cosmetics of it all (pretty swords, words and suits) they put their lives in danger actively all the time for the sake of their king. I'm sure hearing about a death of one isn't so uncommon in the field or on a mission either. the job is dangerous.

she wasn't wrong about him being totally unprepared for the situation.
I dont think thats enough to make her evil. no.

I really like this manhwa but I 100% understand and agree with your criticisms. Putting more depth into what her character was initially supposed to be like in the first place would add more to the story and more to the romance. Overall I think you bring up a lot of good points
