Yeah but he also saved her life. I mean like, it's because he's so ruthless he found out she was being poisoned. I know that the family is rough but, I feel like she lives in a time where everyone has to be ruthless. Look what they do, they poison people like it's nothing and maybe the time she's leaving it is ruthless. I mean who would poison her? She didn't do anything.
The thing is, he only became a villain due to her abusing him, so when she changed she also had the mindset she's properly raising him. Also, keep in mind she came from a place where children and other adults were allowed to kill based on position. She came from a place with normal, cute kids.

I’m on chapter 41 but…. Bruh she’s dumb af she’s a whole adult and this literal child is walking all over her acting like an angel and then she’s completely believe him knowing damn well he was a complete villain in the future and knowing how he was raised she’s driving me insane
