I read some spoilers so ill tell u what i know so far
-Luca travelled back in time, which is why his reactions and personality is different from the novel the aunt read.
-The aunt (Eudith) has royal blood. Her grandmother was actually a princess (?) who apparently ran away. When this was discovered, her great (?) grandfather wanted her to stay with them.
-There were people who were against Eudith and Ruediger's relationship, like her great grandfather. This is why he tried to keep them away from eachother.
-Franz, the villain in the novel, fell for Eudith.
I got some parts wrong sorry. It was actually her mother, not her grandmother. And also, it was her grandfather, not her great grandfather.

luca is also NOT a winterwald. the princess, jonas's mother, was very secluded by her father the king and thus craved freedom. the duke and her were NOT in a romantic relationship but rather a contract. he basically helped her leave the castle by letting her live in his estate. when the princess left the castle to live with the duke and got pregnant, she was actually pregnant with someone else's child. her definition of "freedom" was going places and sleeping around. you can say like mother like son since jonas wasnt any better. basically ruediger is the ONLY rightful heir to winterwald
