Right, when that general died I started getting serious with the storyline. I really didn’t expect that. I kept hoping they’d get saved but when they started singing (i think they were singing). I just felt so sad because I realized they were really gonna die
RIGHT! The singing just made it more sad! The storyline is pretty typical but things like this make it so much more different than the other stories! I've never seen GOOD characters die off so fast in these types of historical bl's, but I think this story is a good reminder that not every story will be the same! Lol
Mannnnnn. I read this in one day and I regret reading it so fast ToT. It's too good. This story is so cute and good ToT. MC got the humor and can think for himself, actually makes smart decisions, and is good looking ToT. This is the first historical bl manhua that isn't dramatically dramatic and problematic. Like extremely problematic with overly problematic characters. U can understand both sides and sympathize with both and I just love how they're both smart and cute ToT. Everyone has some sort of flaw and I think this manhua does a great job of not making the flaws overly bearing and annoying, but rather more empathizable (idek if this is an actual work LOL). The story is just so well balanced!
Also, I didn't think they'd kill off the North's general ToT. I thought there was gonna be some plot twist saving moment but nope.. didn't happen. I almost cried at that part. Like my heart hurt so much lololol. Him and the orange hair guy was gonna be A couple but it was too good to be true ToT.
