its kinda confusing if you dont pay enough attention but i think the FL getting revenge on her father?
If my theory is correct with what we saw in chapter one she'll be gaining her power slowly and using her maids and such to con the "fiance's" into falling for someone not her which results in those women being her aid and support for her path to obtaining the throne as it is rightfully hers by birth. Of course her father believes women don't have the right blah, blah,blah, but we saw her grandfather the emperor before he was poisoned had appointed her as his heir to the throne since her mother [his daughter] gave it up.
So we're pretty much seeing how the process went that lead up to what we saw in the first chapter how she easily lost each marriage partner to one of her maids or servants. She has been planning her every step to bringing her father, aunt, and brother down from the throne's grasp since none of them have any rights to it to begin with.

Yeah, basically the emperor was her grandfather. Her mother the crown princess that was married to her father. But her father had an affair... And sadly there is only one sentence about that but her father said that the grandfather assassinated the mistress (or maybe just previous lover, but actually the real mother of the brother).
Soooo then, the father gets revenge by stealing the throne from the emperor entire lineage, meaning grandpa momma and MC. MC is just like "nope, in your dreams, its your family that's going to hell"
