To you anyone who’s confused I can give what I think is happening. First the dude with the red eyes who is basically being assaulted I believe is the person that the MC went to with his glasses camera to recover the file. Which would explain why he had the file with the evidence on his computer. But it seems he might have some sort of connection with the Blondie since it seems the two of them were in a call at the end of the chapter. My bet is that when the red eyed dude was trying to save the recording that was water damaged he lied about how it was lost since he recognized the blonde, saved the file and then got in contact with the blonde to maybe threaten him or something.
