I think the father is still greifing and blames his son for the mother's death. Since after she gave birth that's when she started getting worst. Which is understandable in that sense but that's why therapy also exist. To work on a way to tend to these issues.
So what if the mother died? It isn't a reason to abuse your fucking son. I'm starting to doubt if you really loved her, because if you did, you. would know that SHE would do EVERYTHING to make her son HAPPY. Did you really think that your wife is happy on what're you're to your own child? Fucking hell.
I know. I know. It hurts but do you really think she's happy out there? With you abusing your child? And it's not like it's his fault that she died. Go to hell.
