Taking this at face value here: It's also been explained before that he is not a mirror. Plus why would he look like a young man if he was just a mirror?

And as she gets older, he stays the same... aaaawe... still that also means he WATCHED her as she grew up. I'm all kinds of mixed up. But then again, the King did have a daughter at 14... God that is too young.
