I agree but also disagree. This, if they do end up in a relationship in the next few chapters with the current age gap, is most certainly a form of pedophilia and that is not okay at all. That being said taking the time period into consideration it would be odd if there were not relationships with huge age gaps because it was extremely normal back then, you can't read/watch a historical ANYTHING and expect it to align with modern values completely, there is a reason it is called HISTORICAL. I feel like its completely justified to point out pedophilia and any other things that don't sit with one's morales but like if you take away aspect of what makes the manhwa historical in the first place that doesn't make any sense. And on top of that there is a reason the author has literally made the main characters uncomfortable with the age gap, meaning lune and the knight will probably get together once its completely legal, I dont understand how people aren't reading in between the lines. On top of that the people in the comment pointing out pedophilia will be the same people in other comment sections justifying a 16 year old and a 1000 years old being together even if one was reincarnated sumn, like pick a side???

It is a fantasy historical romance??? From their clothing to the kingdoms obviously its based on European historical elements in some way while incorporating fantasy??? this is what I meant when people can't read in between the lines, because unless you dont know anything about European history, even knowing the basics and bare minium you could point out the historical elements in this manhwa and the difference between modern and historical influences even with fantasy combined. fantasy is even in the tags-

I think I already said that and the fact that the author has already foreshadowed them being together once they are legal??? Idk if you didnt read my comment or you just are comprehending it wrongly or sumn. I literally said yes I agree it IS pedophilia if they get together when she is 16. And the fantasy and historical part of the genre does mot necessarily mean you have to change very thing if it is fantastical??? On top of that dragons and shit as well as elves and other things are also prominent things that were discussed in many European mythologies(so yk history) even though they weren't real and they are brought to life through fiction. When you combine fantasy and historical of course you need to compromise for one or the other but in many historical works exclusively the age of consent is relevant to that time period because of the time period aspect. If you just cater towards modern standards solely what is the purpose of it being historical??? On top of that this factor is used as a negative aspect, it already is catering to modern standards, often time you see tropes where the man is 50 and the girl just came of age (so 16 in most historical manhwas) and the man is viewed antagonisticly (rightfully so because most of them are complete perverts, disgusting) and this also serves as plot armor too. You have to read between the lines and try to understand what im saying because I never once said " the readers critiques were not justified", i literally said in my first comment that it was justified, I'm saying that people aren't looking at the bigger picture when the relationship will probably be legal and if it's not they can drop it. Also at the same time im calling out people who are disagreeing here but supporting pedophilia in other manhwas.
