it was something like this.... he had been longing for YZZ.. he didn’t visit other concubines for months.. while this period, he had some misconception about YZZ & her cousin Xu Li (was supposed to marry her ig).he thought YZZ has feelings for xu li.. & meanehile YZZ always thought JWJ wants to destroy her family (not true)

someone framed xu li.. & he was captured.. but YZZ blamed JWJ for this.. she didn’t belive his single words.. so he became angry & said he would really kill this xu li this time.. yzz was also angry... & shouted what he wanted in return for not harming her family.. (jwj never wanted to harm her family).. jwj angrily said.. he would spare them if she sleeps with him.. & yzz initiated with a kiss.. then the rest of the things happens...

after sometime they both apologised for their wrong doings.. jwj knew what he has done is wrong.. & yzz also knew that 'the emperor is up to kill my family' was her own selfish thinking.. he never wanted that..

so to tell the summary... even if yzz never initiated.. jwj would never hurt her family.. but she did that in anger & loathing.. & jwj did that in despair.. as he thought that she will never return his feelings.. & this is the only chance.. & after that they both came to mutual understanding.. & their story progressed..

I can't really blame any of them...
