the thing is everyone has different traumas and different triggers. You’re focusing on one thing. So why do your triggers of sexual assault get to be catered to but no one else?? One of my triggers is animal abuse, it increases my suicidal thoughts, yet no one gives a warning for that. There are so many triggers you can’t expect to give warnings to everything and you seem to only care about one so :/ I am educated on triggers, I know exactly what they are and what kind of harm they cause to people. But I still stand by my point, no one cares about you on the internet so u can’t expect ppl to put tw out of good will

people like u rlly need to educate ur selves. people have TRIGGERS. things that can make you have severe panic/anxiety attacks, remind u of rlly distressful situations that are TRAUMATIC. trigger warnings are literally just used to be decent human beings so that ppl can use the internet without having to fear abt that shit, it's not anything u can change. more people than u fucking realize have gone through sexual assault and other triggering situations that just have triggers including myself. it takes two fucking seconds to say "TW: sexual assault" at the beginning of something. it's not taking ur whole entire day out, it's being a decent human bc mental health and shit like that is being recognized FINALLY. it isn't being sensitive and it isn't being "responsible for other ppls triggers". fuck you. those types of responses are so immature and so obviously dumb and ignorant

I personally have rlly bad triggers when it comes to overdose shit, I shake n I literally just get sent back to a rlly bad time in my life. tws need to be put on things that are EXTREMELY TRAUMATIZING. when once did I say they shouldn't be used everywhere? not once. this topic is focused on sexual assault. but everything I'm saying goes for every other triggers. you have gravely misunderstood or are twisting my words. I see animal abuse triggers used sometimes but not enough. same goes with suicidal shit, same goes with sexual assault, gore, abuse. ALL of these need to have tws. also, no one's obligated, I already said that LMFAOOOO but that doesn't change the fact ima still get frustrated, mad, and upset abt this. it's something that needs to be normalized. mental health is often put to the side and just has literally for centuries, this is an outcome where ppl like u think "it's not their obligation blah blah don't b sensitive". if ppl don't put a tw on a serious topic then that means they suck ass and we can't do a lot, but we CAN hold those ppl accountable.

also, another thing- triggers aren't always just with ptsd. anyone with a traumatic experience can have triggers w out having ptsd.
