this is really pathetic of you. Firstly author shouldn't have added the scenes and even if they did they should've added trigger warning before hand. Also readers have all rights to criticize the author but yes it should be in a constructive way. Y'all need to stop agreeing with whatever authors do even if they're wrong

They didn't agree, but telling people to "fuck off" and ignore it is the worst move they could've done here. A trigger warning was definitely necessary, artists should be constructively criticized for their mistakes, what this user did here is to tell us to ignore it. Of course violent people trying to end careers should be stopped. But this user's comment is either worded wrong, or they just want to keep reading uninterrupted despite a terrible thing such as rape being included in it. That's what I call unhealthy desentisization

Second, i'm not saying i'm pro rape but I don't forget the fact that this is a work of fiction, in almost every yaoi on this site you can come across a rape scene, but trashing the author won't solve a thing, if the rape scene here is sooo disturbing to you to the point where you start insulting the author just because they added it then you're welcom to trash almost every bl author. I'm not saying I'm alright with the rape scenes but you don't see me spitting my hate in the comments making some people uncomfortable. (The you is not directed to you!!)

Thank you for not being rude as well! I don't think you're pro rape at all. However I do think content in fictions shouldnt be excused because they're fictions. Fictions play a huge part in peoples' lives these days! Some people get offended by it, some peoples' traumas get triggered, some people develop terrible mental illnesses such as pedophilia because of consuming "Loli" content. It's terrible really. I wish it wasn't that way, but it is. You're so right about blaming all of the bl artists thing, and I would say, "hell yeah!" Let's blame all of the artists. Let's make them stop fetishizing rape. Things won't change unless you don't do something about it, big crowds of people speaking up usually does it.
And by all artists i don't mean the kinky fuckers who make rapey content like that on purpose, lol. They're fucking weird, I mean more innocent comics like this one. No one was expecting a scene like this in this comic. We were expecting to see a nice development between the two, with some smut in between. Nothing that's supposed to harm anyone.

And, yeah, spitting hate on this site won't do anything really, but it's good for people to converse about their emotions and come on an agreement that that scene wasn't necessary, and that is was outright weird of the author to include it.

I guess the takeaway would be that, fiction shouldn't be excused because it's fiction. Of course sane people wouldn't let fiction take over their lives. But people aren't sane. Fiction changes lives today.
And a lot of responsibility comes for the author, with how big this comic got. A small trigger warning would've done it. Since, no one was expecting it. It would've taken 4 minutes maximum to go on Photoshop, add text, write "trigger warning" and add some font and red color. Not a lot of effort. But i digress! I hope you have an amazing day btw! :D
