She was waiting for the right time to take her son. She still wasn’t pregnant with the rich man’s son thus her position in the family is vulnerable and is easily replaceable. If she had taken him then(and if the grandma didn’t like him), who knows what would’ve happened.
She is in a new household right??? No domestic abuse and all?? So what is now the excuse of neglecting your own son?
